The Front house located 20 minutes North from Amsterdam Central Station. This part of a typical Dutch farm was fully modernised and renovated. The farm is now ecological, super insulated and with sufficient solar cells to be selfsupporting in terms of electricity. You wil find here space, cosiness, tranquility and luxury.
Public transportation:
It is a 3-minute walk (300 m) to the busstop.
– Central Station Travel time: 20 minutes (5 stop, every 10 minutes).
– Volendam, Edam and Hoorn: 15 minutes, same bus reverse direction,
– Schiphol Airport in 40 minutes (train and bus).
If you visit this part of the Netherlands you don’t actually need a car. Public transport in the Netherlands is excellent and punctual. Amsterdam is very car-unfriendly, but all sights are very well reachable bus, tram and metro. We are connected to the night network of Amsterdam.
Monnickendam:
Is the neighbour town of Amsterdam and was in the Middle Ages as important. The medieval city center and old harbour have a smaller size then Amsterdam. Canals are smaller, typical Dutch, romantic and surrounded by lovely historic buildings.
Restaurants and Pubs:
It’s location on the edge of the IJsselmeer and has turned into a favourite watersport town. In the center there are excellent restaurants (Michelin rated) and pubs. We have several supermarkets, bakers and grocery and if you like cheese makers wooden shoe shops. The best Dutch Cheeses are made from regional cow milk: Edam and Beemster cheese.
The Accommodation:
The Front house has a surface of 100m2 and has a large living room, two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed of 160x200m. The living room has a kitchenette with a combi oven, a dishwasher, an espresso machine, a fridge and a safe. The luxury property is fully equipped with equipment and supplies upon arrival. There is WIFI internet and TV. On the ground floor you will find a large bathroom with Siemens & washer and dryer, ironing board, a coat rack and a computer with printing options. Central is the hall. Two spacious bedrooms are on the first floor. Both offer beautiful views of the fields and have French doors. One room has a balcony on the southeast with a view of the authentic Dutch meadows.

Price:
Monday till Friday: € 150 per night for two people,
Friday till Monday: € 175 per night for two people,
Extra guests: € 25 per person for a maximum of 2 people. (4 in total)
These prices are excluding € 2.20 city tax pp, per night
Week prices (discount):
Saturday to Saturday for:

-3 people € 1150
-4 people € 1250.
